Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

  • Washington Qualifications Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active Washington license or eligibility to obtain licensure DEA required BLS certification required Previous Medical Oncology experience required Experience managing oncology infusions and infusion reactions strongly preferred INDITP Position Highlights Ongoing locum tenens assignment Start date: October 2026 Full-time schedule Four 10-hour shifts per week (8:00 AM•6:00 PM) No call responsibilities Inpatient, outpatient, and infusion center coverage Epic EMR Temporary privileges available Competitive compensation Travel and malpractice coverage provided We are seeking an experienced Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Washington State.
This full-time position offers a mix of clinic, infusion center, and inpatient responsibilities within a well-established oncology program. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive oncology patient care across clinic, hospital, and infusion settings Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits Manage oncology treatment plans and patient assessments Monitor and manage infusion therapies and infusion-related reactions Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams Participate in rounding and ongoing patient management Practice Environment Average patient volume: 8-10 patients per shift Strong clinical support staff Collaborative multidisciplinary oncology team Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
