Job Description TeamHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, part-time ICU physician to join our established critical care team at Baptist Health
  • Shelby Hospital for weekend coverage in Alabaster, Alabama.
Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including daily patient assessment, management of life-support technologies, ventilator management, hemodynamic support and critical care procedures Collaborate with specialists, hospitalists, nursing, respiratory therapy and ancillary services to develop and implement individualized care plans Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, clinical decision-making, and family communication Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system Support quality improvement initiatives, patient safety efforts and institutional protocols within the ICU Participate in scheduled coverage, including nights or weekend call as defined by the department schedule Qualifications Board certified/board eligible in critical care medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine Alabama medical license or eligibility Strong clinical and communication skills Join TeamHealth and be part of a nationally recognized organization committed to clinician success and high-quality patient care.
