Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Pediatrician to join our pediatric practice in Bentonville, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, family-centered care to children, adolescents, and young adults in a supportive outpatient clinic environment. The Pediatrician will evaluate and manage patients across a broad range of pediatric needs, including preventive care, acute and chronic illnesses, mental health concerns, and behavioral health conditions. This position offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and families while working collaboratively with an established team of pediatric physicians and clinical staff. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pediatric care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults in an outpatient clinic setting. Conduct well-child and young adult examinations, including developmental surveillance, immunizations, anticipatory guidance, and preventive health counseling. Evaluate and treat sick patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and common pediatric conditions. Diagnose and manage chronic pediatric medical conditions and coordinate specialty care when appropriate. Assess and manage mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other common pediatric behavioral and emotional conditions. Provide behavioral health evaluations and follow-up care, working closely with families, therapists, schools, and other community resources as appropriate. Establish strong, trusting relationships with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and caregivers. Educate families regarding nutrition, development, safety, wellness, and disease management. Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical documentation. Collaborate with the other physicians and members of the clinical team to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice development. Rotate after-hours call responsibilities with the other physicians, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Opportunity to round in the hospital doing circumcisions. Call Responsibilities The Pediatrician will participate in a shared call rotation with the practice's other physicians. Call responsibilities will include coverage of evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the goal of providing equitable coverage among the three physicians. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency program. Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics. Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arkansas. Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and families. Comfortable evaluating and managing common pediatric mental health and behavioral concerns. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative physician and clinical team.
