The physician is responsible for examination, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and chronic disease management across a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, managing complex cases, coordinating specialist referrals, adhering to clinical and administrative protocols, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Providers engage in daily team huddles and support regulatory compliance efforts. The role may include supervising Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, serving as a preceptor for medical and NP/PA students, and rotating between clinic locations as needed. Physicians work closely with leadership to ensure high standards of care and operational excellence.
