The facility seeks a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to support ongoing locum tenens coverage. About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for child and adolescent patients onsite at a county mental health clinic, working 40 hours per week during day shift hours. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, with 90 minutes allocated for new evaluations and 1 hour for follow-up appointments, as well as developing individualized treatment plans and providing ongoing medication management. No call obligations are associated with this position. Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and prescriptive authority are required.
