This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated physician who wants flexibility while serving the nation s Veterans in a modern, well supported clinical environment. Position Highlights Provide outpatient Gastroenterology care, including consults, follow-up visits, and procedure-based care as assigned Perform general GI procedures such as EGD and colonoscopy Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including GI nurses, APPs, and internal medicine partners Flexible scheduling based on availability No call requirements for Fee Basis providers Support from an established GI program with modern equipment and experienced staff Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Unrestricted medical license (any U.S. state or territory) Ability to obtain VA privileges and complete credentialing Prior VA experience helpful but not required Location The Sacramento area offers a desirable blend of urban amenities, family-friendly communities, outdoor recreation, and proximity to Lake Tahoe, Napa, and San Francisco.
