Internal Medicine Physician Full-Time Location:
Southbury, Connecticut A well-established, community-focused healthcare organization in the Southbury, Connecticut area is actively seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Physician to join its growing primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive, collegial environment with strong referral networks and access to modern clinical resources. The organization maintains an academic affiliation with the Yale School of Medicine, offering opportunities for teaching, mentorship, and professional growth. New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply! Position Overview
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services for adult patients
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease
  • Perform preventive care, annual wellness visits, and health screenings
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate multidisciplinary care
  • Collaborate closely with primary care providers and specialty teams
  • Utilize EMR for accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement and value-based care initiatives
  • Shared call coverage depending on team structure Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure
  • Active or eligible DEA registration
  • Strong clinical, communication, and patient-centered care skills Compensation & Benefits Compensation is open to discussion and commensurate with experience.
