Job Description
Internal Medicine Physician Full-Time Location:
Southbury, Connecticut A well-established, community-focused healthcare organization in the Southbury, Connecticut area is actively seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Physician to join its growing primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive, collegial environment with strong referral networks and access to modern clinical resources. New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply! Position Overview- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services for adult patients
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease
- Perform preventive care, annual wellness visits, and health screenings
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Collaborate closely with primary care providers and specialty teams
- Utilize EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in quality improvement and value-based care initiatives
- Shared call coverage depending on team structure Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure
- Active or eligible DEA registration
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-centered care skills Compensation & Benefits Compensation is open to discussion and commensurate with experience.
