Job Description
Newly trained or experienced comprehensive ophthalmologists with an interest in cataract surgery are welcome to apply! Unique opportunity for a BC/BE comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon to join our well-established and fast-growing practice of two MDs and two ODs. Current practice has two offices ideally located in beautiful beachfront retirement communities on the east coast of central Florida. Practice owns optical shop, Office Based Surgery/LASIK suite, and the most current diagnostic equipment and treatment modalities for comprehensive ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, glaucoma, refractive surgery, premium IOLs, as well as dry eye center. The new cataract surgeon will become busy right away due to practice growth, local demand, and backlog of the senior surgeons. This is a partnership track position with the practice, and with the nearby multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. This is a busy and successful practice that provides comprehensive care, cataract, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, and a variety of elective services with a focus on the quality of care. No hospital or ER call.
