Clinicians on assignment may explore the Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway for cycling, trails such as the Riverside North Park loop and Jungle Trail loop, and Sebastian Inlet State Park to the north, which features beaches, surfing, and kayaking. Cultural institutions in the area include the Vero Beach Museum of Art, McKee Botanical Garden, the Environmental Learning Center, and Riverside Theatre. About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents ages 5-17 within a residential treatment setting, working 40 hours per week during day shift hours on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting initial psychiatric evaluations within 72 hours of admission and providing follow-up visits in coordination with the treatment team, including medication monitoring within 24 hours when indicated. The clinician will collaborate with the treatment team during monthly meetings to support individualized care planning and ongoing patient management. Call coverage is required for this position at a 1:7 ratio.
