Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist, you will join our hospital-employed group at our exceptional new facility, CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Ringgold, GA, which just opened in January 2026! This is a truly unique and impactful opportunity to be part of the founding team, working with advanced technology in a brand-new setting. You will play a vital role in shaping the patient experience and making a significant impact on local healthcare access for the North Georgia community, within a regional healthcare leader consistently recognized as the #1 Best Regional Hospital in Chattanooga by U.S. News & World Report for 11 consecutive years (and among the top hospitals in Tennessee, No. 4), and holding a consistent 'A' Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group.

Every day you will focus on providing high-quality inpatient care for adults in a modern, forward-thinking environment. This role offers an attractive 7 on / 7 off shifts (Tuesday to Monday, 7am - 7pm), providing a clear and predictable schedule for day shifts. You will operate in a highly supportive environment, free from Peds, OB, or Trauma cases. You will benefit from a reasonable census and an open ICU, allowing you to concentrate your expertise efficiently. Our new hospital features 64 Patient Rooms, a 24-Bed Emergency Department, an 8-Bed open Intensive Care Unit, 5 Operating Rooms, and comprehensive imaging services, providing state-of-the-art resources at your fingertips.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist with a dedication to providing outstanding, quality patient care in a brand-new, dynamic hospital environment.

Diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for a diverse adult inpatient population.

Ordering and interpreting necessary diagnostic tests to accurately assess patient conditions.

Developing and managing comprehensive discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Collaborating effectively with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes within an Open ICU setting.

Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records using the hospital's EMR system, Epic.

Adhering to all hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety protocols, especially in a newly launched facility.

Providing compassionate care and clear communication to patients and their families regarding their health status and treatment plans.

Continuously staying abreast of the latest developments in internal medicine and hospitalist care.

We are offering a competitive base salary that includes a guaranteed $285,000 base salary for three years, production and quality incentives, commencement bonus, longevity bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health and wellness benefits, 401k with match, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, CME (5 days) & allowance, relocation assistance, and potential eligibility for federal student loan forgiveness.

Job Requirements

Required

MD or DO degree

Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine

Ability to obtain an active medical license & DEA for Tennessee and Georgia

AHA BLS certification
