Schedule:

3 days per week, approximately 25-30 hours, see below

Pay:

$55

•60 per hour

Experience:

No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome

Required Specialty:

Pediatric NP or PA; Family Practice candidates are not preferred

Pediatric Physician Assistant Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents. Conduct age-appropriate physical exams, evaluate patient concerns, and diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions. Recommend, prescribe, and manage medications and other appropriate treatments. Order, review, and interpret laboratory work, diagnostic studies, and other clinical tests. Educate children and their caregivers about preventive healthcare, healthy development, disease prevention, and ongoing management of chronic conditions. Work closely with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate individualized patient care. Offer guidance, education, and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families throughout the course of care.

Required Qualifications:

Active Illinois Physician Assistant license Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
