Board:

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)

Licenses:

Active, unrestricted Indiana Medical License (or ability to obtain), Indiana Controlled Substance Registration, DEA with Indiana address

DEA / CDS

Active DEA required with Indiana address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, and 4

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, PALS

Experience:

Completion of an

ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine Residency Other Qualifications:

CME attestation, case logs covering previous two years, current Flu/TB/COVID documentation, malpractice coverage history

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED Manage acute and moderate-acuity cases in a community hospital setting Perform moderate sedation and other emergency procedures as required Maintain cross-credentialing and provide coverage at both Franciscan Health Munster and Franciscan Health Dyer Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure timely patient evaluation and treatment
