Job Description
BC/BE Gastroenterologist - Exciting opportunity for a to join a not-for-profit health system deeply rooted in the local community. The flagship hospital is a 99-bed acute care facility and the sole community hospital in the region. Practice Highlights Two state-of-the-art practice locations Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of GI and hepatobiliary disorders including GERD, IBD, IBS, celiac disease, GI bleeding, pancreatobiliary disease, and liver disease Perform EGD, colonoscopy, polypectomy, hemostasis, dilation, and PEG placement; advanced procedures based on training (ERCP, EUS) Provide inpatient consults and participate in GI call rotation Collaborate with Primary Care, Surgery, Oncology, Radiology, and Nutrition teams Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical pathways, and program development Additional procedures welcomed but not required: ERCP, EUS, bleeding and complex polypectomy, motility, Barretts ablation, and IBD infusion services Technology & Support Meditech EMR Teaching opportunities Experienced office staff for seamless practice management Da Vinci V Robotics Referral Network Robust referral base from employed Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine providers, ensuring strong patient volume and practice growth.
