Position Details:

Full-time employment (Monday-Friday schedule)

Practice locations include; 95% at Ball Memorial Hospital and 5% outreach at Jay County Hospital

Work-life balance with

On-Call:

1:5

25% Inpatient / 75% Outpatient

Team:

5 Physicians and 3 Advanced Providers

Patient Volume:

Individuals can expect on average 40-60 procedures per week Procedures include: upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy, band ligation, ERCP/EUS (not required), RFA & esophageal motility

Teaching residents, lectures, adjunct faculty appointment, limited drug trials Sign on bonus available

Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Medical Degree or foreign equivalent
  • Internal Medicine residency Fellowship training required in Gastroenterology
  • Eligibility for or possession of Indiana medical license
  • Visa sponsorship available

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is a 379-bed hospital and is designated as a level 3 trauma center. It is both a teaching hospital and a regional tertiary referral center.
