Full-time opportunity in Valparaiso, IN combining clinical practice and residency faculty duties. You will provide proactive primary care for patients with chronic conditions, identify and deliver preventive and wellness services, and teach/mentor family medicine residents.

Schedule Clinical care:

2 days per week in outpatient clinic

Academic:

2 days per week as residency faculty (teaching, mentoring, and program activities) Key responsibilities Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in the outpatient setting Provide preventive care and wellness counseling Supervise, teach, and mentor family medicine residents in clinical and educational settings Arrange and evaluate resident rotations to meet program goals and accreditation standards Provide academic counseling and participate in resident recruitment and selection Participate in on-site program reviews and quality/compliance activities Perform related clinical and academic duties as assigned Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completed family medicine residency Board certified in family medicine Active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain) DEA registration Current CPR certification Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Compensation and benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Support for professional development and continuing education Team-oriented clinical and academic environment
