Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Lead to oversee and coordinate large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and within scope, budget, and schedule. As a Construction Lead, you will manage teams, interpret technical drawings, review construction schedules, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Your leadership will drive project success while maintaining high-quality standards across all phases of construction. Responsibilities Lead and manage construction teams on-site, supervising daily activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. Review and interpret complex construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide project execution. Develop, coordinate, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to ensure timely delivery. Oversee the preparation and review of construction estimates, budgets, and contracts to align with project scope and client expectations. Ensure compliance with federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA, managing safety protocols across all site activities. Coordinate with project stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication regarding project progress, schedule adjustments, and issue resolution. Supervise subcontractors and crew members, managing team performance while fostering a collaborative work environment focused on quality control and safety. Requirements Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management roles with a strong background in managing large teams on active sites. Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards (OSHA), blueprint reading, project scheduling, and cost estimating. Hands-on experience supervising construction sites with a focus on quality assurance and safety compliance. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and coordinate construction schedules effectively. Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams efficiently while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Familiarity with managing contracts and understanding of federal construction safety regulations is highly desirable.
