Oversees quality of care through clinical supervision, case reviews, and interdepartmental collaboration. Participates in staff meetings, policy development, and clinical program implementation to enhance service quality and support accreditation efforts. Offers consultation to families, community agencies, and practitioners. Assists in creating system-wide policies and provides staff training on medical topics. Requires MD or DO, adult psychiatry training, Kentucky medical license, eligibility for board certification, and federal narcotics license. Experience includes at least six months of psychiatric practicum and strong communication skills. No unusual physical demands; may involve exposure to threat or biological hazards; requires 24-hour call. Supports a culture of leadership, safety, quality, and customer service.
