Coverage is mid-shifts only — no overnight shifts — worked in blocks of 3-4 consecutive shifts. The department sees approximately 100 patients per day, runs on Cerner, and has on-site backup specialty support plus system-wide transfer center access for higher-acuity cases. What You'll Do Provide Emergency Medicine coverage during scheduled mid-shifts (12p-10p or 2p-12a) Work in committed blocks of 3-4 consecutive shifts, including at least one weekend day per block Round on and admit ED patients in a roughly 100-patient-per-day department Coordinate with on-site APPs covering the Fast Track area Utilize on-site backup specialty support and system transfer center for higher-acuity cases Document care accurately and in real time within Cerner What You Bring — Required ABEM Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (no substitutions) Active Kentucky medical license, IMLC Letter of Qualification, or eligible temporary KY license Cerner EMR experience — required per client Completely clean credentialing file (licensure and malpractice history) Ability to work committed 3-4 shift blocks including weekend coverage Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccination per state/facility mandate Preferred Qualifications Drivable/regional Kentucky-area candidates strongly preferred Availability for near-term coverage gaps: October 14-18 and October 28-31 Prior experience working alongside APPs and resident physicians About ShareSTAFF ShareSTAFF connects nursing and allied health professionals with travel and contract assignments at hospitals, state facilities, and healthcare organizations nationwide.
