We are an established, independent pediatric practice in Gretna, Louisiana, serving families throughout the Greater New Orleans area , and we are looking for a pediatrician to join our team. This is a permanent full-time or part-time opportunity for a physician who values excellent patient care, meaningful relationships with families, and the ability to practice in a more personal, physician-led environment. Our practice has an established patient population and a close-knit clinical team. Physicians are trusted to exercise their clinical judgment, communication is direct, and providers have the opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape the continued growth of the practice. What You'll Appreciate About Our Practice Established private pediatric practice with a loyal patient population Outpatient pediatric care Full-time or part-time opportunities Physician-led practice with direct communication Greater focus on patients and families with fewer administrative layers Collaborative, close-knit clinical team Opportunity to have a meaningful voice in practice growth Paid time off Benefits available based on employment status Permanent position — not locum tenens or temporary staffing What You'll Do Provide comprehensive pediatric care from infancy through adolescence Conduct well-child visits, sick visits, developmental screenings, and preventive care Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions Counsel and educate parents and caregivers Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and outside specialists Build long-term relationships with children and their families Participate in quality improvement and the continued development of the practice What We're Looking For MD or DO degree Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Current Louisiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Commitment to compassionate, family-centered pediatric care Collaborative and dependable approach to patient care Interest in contributing to the continued growth of an independent practice Experienced pediatricians and graduating pediatric residents are encouraged to apply.
