Location:
Northampton, Massachusetts (hospital-based) Schedule Call-only coverage: approximately 1 weekend every 5 weeks Weekend call: Friday 3:00 PM through Monday 6:00 AM 24-hour overnight coverage as applicable: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM Compensation $2,800-$3,000 per day Clinical Role Provide inpatient GI consultation and management for adult patients Serve as specialty backup to hospitalist team (hospitalists take first call) Round on patients as needed Perform endoscopic procedures (upper and lower endoscopy, colonoscopy)Scope:
bread-and-butter gastroenterology in an acute care settingSystems EMR:
Epic Requirements MD or DO Board certified in Gastroenterology Active Massachusetts medical license Current DEA registration BLS certification Comfortable with inpatient consultation, rounding, and endoscopic proceduresBenefits
