Responsibilities Provide comprehensive hospital-based obstetric care, including labor management and delivery coverage Evaluate, diagnose, and manage obstetric patients in a high-acuity inpatient setting Collaborate closely with physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, nursing staff, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary teams Perform emergency obstetric procedures as clinically indicated Deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and clinical excellence Qualifications Education & Experience Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Eligible for unrestricted Maryland medical licensure Strong interest in hospital-based obstetric practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care Experience collaborating with Certified Nurse Midwives is preferred Compensation Competitive PRN compensation: $150/hour (Traditional Laborist) Paid malpractice coverage Please review the About UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center Experience the highest level of appreciation at UM BWMC-recognized as a Top Workplace in the Baltimore area and a Top Workplace in the USA.
