• Westminster, MD Position Details
• Specialize in the management of diabetes, and treat thyroid, pituitary, and osteoporosis issues in the outpatient setting
• Call rotation is 1:4, with the vast majority being phone call coverage only
• BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
• Completed Endocrinology Fellowship; open to new fellowship graduates
• Expertise in diagnosing and treating diseases, with a focus on endocrine system and metabolism disorders
• Ability to perform inpatient consults on a rotating basis
• Skilled in advising, ordering, and interpreting appropriate tests
• Capable of discussing diagnoses with patients, explaining treatment options, and providing advice on medications, lifestyle changes, and preventive measures
• Competent in carrying out follow-up appointments, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans, updating patient records, and making referrals as needed
• Committed to staying current on best practices, developments, trends, research, and technology
• Timely completion of patient encounter documentation and billing is required
