Job Description

. This contract position requires an on-site presence, offering a unique opportunity to provide high-quality medical care within a dynamic medical practice environment. As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive patient care, managing a diverse patient population, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to patient-centered care and community health improvement. Responsibilities Provide high-quality medical care to patients in an outpatient setting Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans Manage chronic and acute medical conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and timely medical records Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care Stay current with medical guidelines and best practices in Internal Medicine Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license in the state of practice Experience in Internal Medicine, preferably in a clinical setting Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing patient-centered care Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8a-5p No call requirement
Setting:
Outpatient internal medicine practice
Patient Volume:
20 per day
Patient Population:
Adults and geriatrics 15 or 30-minute patient visits
Support Staff:
RNs, MAs, and patient service representatives
EMR:
Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
