Job Description

Description As a Hospitalist, you will be essential in managing patient care from admission through discharge, ensuring the best possible outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive medical services. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a diverse patient population, coordinating with specialists, and maintaining detailed medical records. This position is ideal for an Associate-level physician looking to make a significant impact in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients from admission to discharge. Perform thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests to determine patient conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Prescribe and manage medications and therapies. Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans. Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care. Adhere to all hospital policies and medical regulations. Requirements MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree. Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Valid medical license to practice in the state of York. Associate level experience in a hospitalist or inpatient setting. Excellent clinical skills and diagnostic abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

12-hour day or night shifts, specific dates

8-11 patients No procedures required
