Corewell Health Family Medicine, Buchanan, qualifies for the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program. Award recipients, selected through the program's application process, may receive up to $100,000 for three years of full-time service! Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Compensation package includes a two-year salary guarantee with the opportunity to bonus based on productivity, plus a starting bonus! Appointments of 15 or 30 minutes include; acutes, follow ups, physical exams, new patients, pediatric care, paps and pelvics, and typical primary care procedures; I & D, joint injections. The team includes 2 physicians and 2 full-time APPs. Clinic hours are Monday 7am

- 3pm, which allows for a flexible weekly schedule.
Call is 1:5, weekend only. Corewell Health uses EPIC as our EMR. Essential Functions Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others. Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times. Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care. Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients. Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources. Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards. Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate. Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
