Job Description

Alumni Healthcare Staffing seeks a General/Invasive or Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan. Provide inpatient and/or outpatient cardiac care, including consults, imaging interpretation, and potential procedures depending on your skill set. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to diagnose, treat, and manage cardiovascular conditions while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible, licensed (or able to obtain licensure) in Michigan, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital or clinical environment with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations and follow-up care Interpret diagnostic cardiac tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and ECGs Perform invasive or non-invasive cardiac procedures as credentialed Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for cardiovascular conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and outcomes in the medical record Participate in call coverage as required by the facility Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory standards Required Skills Cardiac imaging interpretation (echo, stress testing, ECG) Invasive cardiac procedures (if applicable) Non-invasive cardiology diagnostics Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Evidence-based cardiovascular disease management Inpatient hospital cardiology care Outpatient cardiology clinic management Multidisciplinary care coordination Clinical decision-making under pressure
