Job Description
Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed in Michigan. Dates of coverage
Needed:
July 20: 7:00 PM
•7:00 AM, July 25: 7:00 AM
•7:00 PM, July 26: Shift TBD, August 10 [night shift all August], August 16, August 17, August 24, August 29, August 31, September [Approximately 8 shifts anticipated (primarily nights)]

Level IV Fast Track:
No 55% of hospital admissions originate from the ED 6.4% of ED patients are admitted Fewer than 7 patient transfers per 24-hour period Primary referral center: Approximately 20 miles away One APP works alongside the ED attending from 11:00 AM
•11:00 PM Locum physician will provide supervision of APP during overlapping hours Clinical responsibilities: Respond to hospital codes as needed. Interpret EKGs; cardiology provides final review. Admission orders handled by admitting physicians OB patients are stabilized and transferred.

Radiology, Critical Care/Intensivist, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Urology, Psychiatry EMR:
Epic Certification Requirements:
BC ABEM or AOBEM, Active MI License, ACLS, ATLS Credentialing timeframe: Emergency credentialing available; Provider needed for first shift on July 20 $1000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days. $Competitive Hourly pay + housing + travel + A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
