Locums About the Facility This large hospital maintains the clinical infrastructure and support systems necessary to deliver on-site outpatient neurodiagnostic services. The facility supports a structured EMG program staffed by experienced neurodiagnostic technicians and equipped with dedicated procedure rooms to facilitate efficient care delivery. Inpatient neurological consultation services are available on an as-needed basis within the same clinical environment. About the Facility Location Go camping, hiking, kayaking, cycling, and snowshoeing all while in west Michigan! About the Clinician's Workday The neurologist will provide on-site outpatient EMG services during day shifts, with an average of 13 EMG procedures scheduled per day in 30-minute slots. Dedicated neurodiagnostic technicians, experienced in nerve conduction studies, perform the nerve conduction velocity (NCV) portion of each study; the clinician is responsible for the needle EMG and interpretation. Two dedicated procedure rooms are available to support clinical workflow. Inpatient consultations occur infrequently and are accommodated on an as-needed basis within the standard daily schedule. Board certification in Neurology and prescriptive authority are required for this position.
