BC/BE OB/GYN
physician to join our current group in Austin and Albert Lea providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic team in providing excellent and compassionate care to our communities. You are expected to work in a collaborative and team-based approach along with the other OBGYNs, Family Medicine Providers and Midlevel providers (CNM and NP). Mayo Clinic Health System is a group of clinics, hospitals, and health care facilities across two states, Minnesota and Wisconsin, that provide primary and specialty care close to home. Our model utilizes an integrated team approach, with primary delivery support being performed by our CNM and Family Medicine OB teams. You will provide support for both high risk obstetrical patients and gynecologic patients as needed. Subspecialty services are available at Mayo Clinic Rochester including: MFM, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, and reproductive endocrine and infertility. As part of a health care system, consultations are also readily available from other specialties as well. Teaching opportunities for medical students, PA, NP, and CNM students as well as OBGYN residents is available and encouraged. The Austin Birthing Center delivers over 600 babies per year and is consistently ranked as high performing by US news and world report. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full scope of OBGYN while being part of an collaborative team with ample opportunities for professional growth throughout the career spectrum.
