Job Description
Associated Eye Care is a multi-specialty group practice providing surgical services and vision care for patients of all ages. We have five locations spanning the East Metro area of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, and Western Wisconsin. Associated Eye Care has more than a 50-year history of providing a lifetime of vision for our patients through our uncompromising commitment to quality care and personal service. Associated Eye Care is located in a major Midwest metro area with an international airport, four distinct seasons, excellent schools, professional sports, art/music/theatre, fine dining, and other cultural offerings of a large metro. Position Summary Associated Eye Care (AEC) is currently seeking a board-eligible or board-certified retina specialist to join a practice that offers vision care for a lifetime. This retina specialist will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary eye care team including general and specialty ophthalmologists and optometrists. We are looking to fill this position with a medical retina specialist. Associated Eye Care currently has one late-practice surgical retina specialist and is recruiting a new retina physician in anticipation of a planned retirement within the next year. This position offers a unique opportunity for mentorship and transition, with an overlap period to ensure continuity of care and a smooth handoff of an established, busy retina practice. The incoming physician will ultimately assume the patient base and responsibilities of the retiring physician. This position offers flexibility and may be structured as either full-time or part-time, depending on candidate preference and availability. The candidate must have the ability to travel to the practice's five locations in the East Metro area of Minneapolis/St. Paul, and Western Wisconsin.
