Director of Diagnostic Imaging - Full Time Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO, that focuses on personalized care. Our 25-inpatient bed facility is a Medicare 4-star rated and is ranked in the top 1% Nationally for Patient Safety, Quality, and Efficiency. Responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the diagnostic imaging department. Ensure adequate staffing levels to ensure continuity of operations for all provided imaging modalities. Reviews and is responsible for all QA proceedings and delegates equipment QA to responsible staff as needed. Evaluate accuracy and quality of images and provides technical assistance for staff. Oversee the use of all radiology equipment. Responsible for monitoring the safety of all employees and patients including radiation levels. Prepare, evaluate, and control the department's annual budget. Supervises as provides direction for the Diagnostic Imaging supervisor. Incorporate evidence-based practice into development and performance improvement activities. Develop and maintains departmental policies and procedures in collaboration with Leadership and the Diagnostic Imaging Medical Director. Maintain QA logs for all required imaging modalities. Actively participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. Support and carries out hospital policies. Work at maintaining exceptional rapport and a cooperative working relationship with all departments and staff. Prioritize assigned work to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively. Maintain professional affiliations as appropriate and participates in professional activities to keep abreast of developments in Diagnostic Imaging.Requirements:
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders Strong leadership and management experitse Prior experience as a Director or Supervisor of Diagnostic Imaging preferred Experience with electronic medical records including PACS system preferred Associate's degree required Bachelor's Degree preferred R.T.(S), ARRT, or CNMT registry or registry in a Diagnostic Imaging related field required 2-3 years of experience 0-1 years of experience in Supervision BLS required Your next move: Now that you know more about being a Director of Diagnostic Imaging on our team, we hope you'll join us.
