Opportunity Highlights Schedule:
Every 5th weekend
•Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 5:00
AM Job Setting:
Inpatient
•Mercy Hospital Washington; 16 beds (8 LDRP, 8 Couplet/GYN)
Coverage Type:
Call Only (Beeper); Call Ratio 1:4; 30-minute call response time required
EMR System:
Epic Average Deliveries Per Year:
750
Patients Per Shift:
0-3 patients seen; 0-2 admissions; 0-5 phone consults
Types of Cases:
Low and high risk pregnancy management FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) OB Ultrasounds
•Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted Amniocentesis Routine vaginal delivery, low forceps, C-section decision-making Complicated deliveries: C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP Surgical gynecology: open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major
Credentialing:
Estimated 90 days; temporary privileges available
Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible:
Board Eligible minimum; Board Certified preferred
Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, PALS
required
Licensure:
Active Missouri (MO) license required; IMLC not accepted
