Job Description

Pediatric Hospitalist Location:
Mississippi Schedule:
Full time coverage with a mix of day and night shifts as scheduled by the site.
Openings:
2 Position Overview Provide pediatric hospitalist coverage in an inpatient setting. Patient mix referenced includes newborns through age 18. Responsibilities include admissions, rounding, discharges, and inpatient consultations as needed. Newborn nursery and inpatient coverage are included based on site needs.
Charting system:
Epic. Required Qualifications MD or DO. Residency trained in Pediatrics. Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics as accepted by the site. Active Mississippi medical license. DEA with Mississippi address and required schedules. PALS and NRP as required by the site. References may be required per site policy. Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify. Credentialing and Onboarding Credentialing timeline varies by site and provider file completeness. Travel and Lodging Travel support may be available.
