General Cardiologist | Join Montanas Leading Cardiovascular Program

Job Description

Providence Heart Institute is seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified General Cardiologist to join its growing team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. The ideal candidate is a motivated, compassionate physician with strong clinical training and experience. You will join a team of 3 Interventional Cardiologists, 3 Electrophysiologists, 6 General Cardiologists and 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons at the Providence Heart Institute with dedicated APC support across each division. Providence Heart Institute offers comprehensive cardiac and thoracic interventions, electrophysiology, structural and interventional cardiology, and vascular services. Providence St. Patrick Hospital is a 253-bed, Level II trauma center recognized for high-quality cardiovascular care, including Comprehensive Cardiac Center Certification from The Joint Commission. Formal training and expertise in echocardiography required Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice with 24-hour hospitalist coverage and full APC support weekdays and weekends Dedicated days for echocardiography interpretation, including TEE, and imaging, including nuclear and CT 4, 10-hour shifts per week when covering clinic 1:5 - to 1:7 call rotation once fully staffed Opportunities in cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology, and outreach clinic locations Opportunity to develop specialty clinics based on interest, such as cardio-oncology, women's cardiology, or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy Where You'll Work You will join a team of 3 Interventional Cardiologists, 3 Electrophysiologists, 6 General Cardiologists and 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons at the Providence Heart Institute with dedicated APP support across each division.
