Location:
Apex, NC We're seeking a Medical Assistant to join a busy Pediatric Cardiology ambulatory practice. This position works closely with providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to pediatric patients and their families. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a pediatric cardiology/outpatient setting Room patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare patients for exams Assist providers with clinical and patient-care needs Support efficient patient flow and daily clinical operations Communicate professionally and compassionately with children and their families Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of clinical Medical Assistant experience OR completion of an approved Medical Assistant program Strong patient-care and communication skills Comfortable working with pediatric patients and families Pediatric and/or cardiology experience is a plus Great opportunity for an MA who enjoys working with children and families and has an interest in pediatric cardiology and specialty care .
