Locums About the Facility The health system operates a comprehensive medical facility providing transfusion medicine services as part of an established program. The facility maintains current capabilities for blood banking and transfusion medicine operations, supported by dedicated protocols for quality patient care delivery. About the Facility Location North Carolina offers a range of regional attractions suited to varied interests. The state hosts community events throughout the year, including outdoor festivals and cultural gatherings. Clinicians on assignment will find accessible outdoor recreation, scenic landscapes, and cultural destinations across the state's distinct regions year-round. About the Clinicians Workday The clinician will provide transfusion medicine pathologist services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotating night and weekend call coverage required. Board certification in Bloodbanking/Transfusion Medicine is required. All patient documentation and clinical operations must be completed using the

EPIC EMR

system.
