Master Pools by Gress, Inc. is an established swimming pool company serving the Raleigh-Durham/RTP area for more than 27 years. We are looking for an experienced Pool Service Manager to take a leadership role in our maintenance and repair division. This is not simply a job managing a route of pools. We are looking for someone who understands the pool industry, knows how to diagnose and repair equipment, can lead a team, work with customers, and help us continue to grow our service division.POTENTIAL OWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The ideal candidate will have substantial hands-on experience in residential swimming pool maintenance and repair and the ability to manage and grow a service operation.Required:
Proven experience in swimming pool maintenance and repair Strong knowledge of pumps, filters, heaters, automation, salt systems, chlorinators, and other pool equipment Strong understanding of pool water chemistry and preventative maintenance Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and plumbing problems Experience leading, managing, or supervising service technicians Excellent customer-service and communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to schedule and prioritize service calls efficiently Ability to prepare and review repair estimates Valid driver's license and good driving record Professional appearance and attitude Dependable, honest, and willing to take ownership of responsibilitiesYOUR ROLE
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for helping lead the day-to-day operation and continued growth of our pool maintenance and repair division.Responsibilities will include:
Managing the daily operations of the service department Supervising, training, and supporting service technicians Scheduling and dispatching maintenance and repair calls Diagnosing pool equipment and plumbing problems Overseeing preventative maintenance and repair work Maintaining high standards for pool care and water chemistry Communicating directly with homeowners and customers Preparing and reviewing repair estimates Monitoring job quality and customer satisfaction Managing parts, equipment, and service inventory Helping recruit and train additional technicians Improving service department efficiency and profitability Identifying opportunities to grow the maintenance and repair division Making sure customers receive the level of service expected from a company with 27 years of experienceTHE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and takes ownership of the results. You should be able to walk onto a pool equipment pad, understand what you're looking at, diagnose a problem, explain the issue to the homeowner, determine the appropriate repair, and make sure the job is completed correctly. You should also be comfortable leading people, dealing with customers, solving problems, and making decisions. Most importantly, we want someone who wants to build something—not just collect a paycheck.COMPENSATION
$50,000-$110,000+ annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Exceptional candidates with extensive pool service management experience may be considered at the higher end of the range. Additional compensation and/or incentives may be available based on performance and growth of the service division.WHY JOIN US?
