Job Description
Locums Urology Physician in Whiteville, North Carolina - Low Volume, Flexible Schedule Cover inpatient urology through flexible PRN blocks with a light to moderate call workload and no clinic responsibilities. Highlights No clinic responsibilities Low daily consult volume Flexible PRN coverage General urology with no trauma Practice & Cases Inpatient adult urology with full hospital staff Typically 2-3 consults and 2-8 rounding patients per day Coverage includes ED and inpatient consults, urinary retention, urgent stone management, and acute urologic needs Procedures may include cystoscopy, ureteral stenting, and laser lithotripsy for obstructed stones Schedule Approximately 3-7 days of coverage per month 24-hour call while onsite Sporadic multi-day blocks based on coverage needs Requirements Must be an MD or DO Board Certified in Urology Active North Carolina medical license required BLS and DEA required Logistics Airfare and lodging provided Rental car and mileage provided We can compare your availability with the upcoming PRN blocks and find the 24-hour inpatient call coverage that works for your schedule.
