- Qualifications and Skills
- Working knowledge of common diseases and disorders.
- Caring for all ages.
- Effective analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Team player who works collegially with all members of the team, including other providers, front and clinical staff, and leadership.
- Comfortable in the role of collaborating physician with physician assistants caring independently for a panel of patients.
- Ability to communicate difficult conversations professionally.
- Patience, exceptional bedside manner, and the ability to empathize with the patient and engage in shared decision making. Education and Experience
- MD or DO from an accredited program.
- Licensed/license-eligible to practice in Vermont.
- Family Medicine certified or board eligible.
- Proof of successful completion of 3-year residency training program.
- History of adhering to healthcare ethical code of conduct.
