Physician - Ophthalmologist

Job Description

Plymouth, NHFull-Time | General Ophthalmology$350K-$375K Base + $30K-$75K IncentiveWhat You'll DoPerform cataract surgery at HospitalProvide intravitreal injections, including Eylea, Eylea HD, and VabysmoPerform SLT and YAG laser proceduresPerform chalazion excisions and foreign-body removalsConduct comprehensive and medical eye examinationsDiagnose and treat a broad range of ophthalmic conditionsDevelop individualized treatment plansReview and interpret diagnostic testingCollaborate with physicians and clinical support staffProvide ER consultation by phone as part of the call rotationAdditional retina experience is a plus, but not required.

RequiredMD or DOCompletion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residencyNH medical license or eligibility for NH licensureValid DEA registrationAbility to practice independentlyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to collaborative, patient-centered carePreferredBoard certification in OphthalmologyPrior ophthalmology experienceCataract surgery experienceIntravitreal injection experienceRetina experience is a plusScheduleMonday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PMOffice schedule: 4 days/week

approximately 2 days/monthOR weeks typically include 3 office days + 1 OR dayPatient volume: approximately 34-38 patients/day
Call:
approximately 10 days/monthCall is primarily non-office hours and consists of phone consultations with ER staffTechnology & SupportYou'll have access to:

$350,000-$375,000/year
Productivity Incentive:
$30,000-$75,000
Relocation Assistance:
Available through a sign-on bonus when applicableCompensation is based on experience, with additional earning potential tied to productivity.
