Hooper Avenue Toms River, New Jersey 108755 A-Team Solutions is seeking a

DRT - DEXA

(Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) Technologist for possible contract position at the VA. Start would be upon approval and credentialing. Working Hours 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM EST Duties and Responsibilities General Radiologic Technologist (R) DRTs require:

• The ability to produce radiographic studies that are used in medical diagnosis and interpreted by medical officers to locate injuries, foreign bodies, pathological conditions, or lesions within the body.
• Experience assisting with fluoroscopy and performing imaging
• Experience preparing and administering contrast media and medications in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
• Knowledge in computerized [and digital radiography (CR/DR),] and picture archiving and communications systems (PACS).
• Experience with Bone Densitometry (BD)/DEXA examinations on the lumbar spine, hips and forearms.

Qualifications License:

Contractor's personnel shall be licensed to practice Radiologic Technology in a state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses. Contractor Radiologic Technologist(s) who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.

Certification:

Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRTs) must be certified in general radiologic technology ( R ) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required.
