Job Description
Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. The Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse provides acute dialysis care and treatments to patients within a hospital environment. This position performs duties assigned by the Charge Nurse or Acute Manager. Acute nurses may report directly to an Acute Manager, Administrator or other leaders. Competency is evaluated based on assessment of the nurse's ability to utilize the nursing process as it applies to formulating an appropriate plan for care and analyzing the effectiveness of interventions. Duties are of considerable difficulty and are based on scientific principles and standards of nursing practice. The Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse will be responsible for completing all duties as assigned. Additional Information

Job Requirements:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in hospital which can include med-surg/ICU OR outpatient dialysis. Required Licensure/Certification(s):
- Active New MexicoRegistered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- (Basic Life Support) required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
