This flexible, independent contractor role offers part-time, per diem, or supplemental income. Perform comprehensive eye exams using advanced diagnostic tools to evaluate ocular health and vision. Diagnose and treat eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal diseases, and pediatric issues. Develop personalized treatment plans, including medical management, surgical referrals, or coordination with specialists. Participate in clinical research and trials to advance ophthalmic treatments. Maintain accurate records using EMR systems like Epic, ensuring HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver holistic patient care and stay current with ophthalmology advancements. Work in OSHA and ADA-compliant facilities, with proper equipment and supplies. Provide services on a per-appointment basis, with reports due within two days, and receive support through provided technology and training. Qualifications include active licensure, relevant certifications, and 1-2 years of experience preferred. Providers must reside within 50 miles of Reno, NV, and meet facility requirements. Compensation is on a paid-per-service basis, with malpractice coverage provided.
