Job Description
Internal Medicine Physician Compensation:
$300K-$500K per yearJob Type:
Flexible hours, Monday-Friday, No call. A well-established, physician-led group with locations throughout Long Island, is currently seeking to hire a Internal Medicine Physician. This practice has built a stellar reputation for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration. 100% outpatient.Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care. Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations. Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests Create and oversee individualized treatment plans. Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care. Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice. Stay compliant withHIPAA, NYS
DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines. Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects. Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) with active or eligible board certification in Internal Medicine. Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State. Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills. Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care. Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice is required Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base. Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.Benefits:
