The facility is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, pediatric clinicians, and social workers to facilitate coordinated care delivery. Locum tenens coverage is sought to maintain continuity of child and adolescent psychiatric services within this dedicated inpatient environment. About the Facility Location The region offers a range of outdoor and recreational activities suited to varied interests, including hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and whitewater rafting. Scenic state parks featuring waterfalls and gorges provide additional opportunities for year-round exploration, alongside farm-to-table dining, local craft beverages, and farmers' markets. Arts and cultural events, including live music and performing arts, as well as festivals and fairs, further contribute to the range of experiences available to those on assignment in the area. About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric care for a pediatric patient population, working 40 hours per week Monday through Friday during day shift hours at an on-site facility in New York. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing medication management for children requiring inpatient psychiatric services. Call coverage is required for this position, with an on-call rotation shared with another clinician. Child and Adolescent Fellowship completion is required, and prescriptive authority is required for this role.
