Avenue Acupuncture | Plattsburgh, NY Avenue Acupuncture is an established, busy acupuncture practice in Plattsburgh, NY, seeking a licensed acupuncturist to join our practice as an independent contractor. New graduates and early-career practitioners are strongly encouraged to apply. We are fortunate to have an established patient base and consistent demand for acupuncture in our community, including patients we are currently unable to accommodate. We are looking for the right practitioner to help us expand access to care while growing a caseload of their own within an established practice. This is a part-time, percentage-based opportunity with the potential to grow substantially based on practitioner interest and patient demand. About the Opportunity This is an especially good fit for a practitioner who wants the independence of building their own schedule without starting a practice completely from scratch. You will be joining an established clinical environment with existing patient demand, administrative infrastructure, mentorship, and the opportunity to collaborate with other wellness professionals. We are also in the process of growing into a larger wellness collective , making this an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow alongside the practice and become part of a collaborative healthcare community. Scheduling is flexible and practitioner-directed. However, we are specifically looking for someone interested in offering some evening availability to better accommodate working patients who currently have limited access to those appointment times. Clinical experience is valuable, but we care equally about finding someone who is curious, grounded, compassionate, and eager to grow. Mentorship and educational support are available. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited acupuncture program Eligible for or currently holding a New York State acupuncture license Willing to obtain an NPI number and complete necessary credentialing for insurance billing Herbal education/training is a plus, but not required Reliable transportation or willingness to relocate to the Plattsburgh area
