DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide coverage for Newborn Nursery, including attending high-risk deliveries and stabilizing newborns. Conduct emergency room consults for pediatric patients. Manage the Pediatric inpatient unit, overseeing patient care and treatment plans. Resuscitate and stabilize critically ill newborns pending transport to a higher-level NICU. Perform 24-hour call shifts, remaining accessible and able to return to the hospital within 20 minutes.
