- The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Rochester seeks committed physician faculty members to teach and practice at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, NY.
The physician may also practice at Strong Memorial Hospital, Strong West and other Regional Hospitals which are a part of the University of Rochester, a tertiary care teaching facility located in Rochester, NY. Salary is dependent on experience of the physician and the facility contracted at. Clinical responsibilities include patient care and teaching of house staff and medical students. Faculty members are expected to participate in monthly division meetings, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested. Your employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a health screening exam, pre-placement TB test, and your full cooperation in completing a screening for the illegal use of drugs. - Qualifications
- Candidates must be Board certified (or Board eligible) in Emergency Medicine and have a NYS Medical License. If Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Family Medicine, must have experience and appropriate training in Emergency Medicine.
