A successful OB hospitalist program should be a collaboration among your hospital's staff and affiliated obstetricians, family practice physicians and sub-specialists. Our experienced, board-eligible or board-certified OB Hospitalists provide OB triage, admissions inpatient care, and delivery for hospitalized patients. This cost-effective, cohesive approach improves clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. 24 hour shifts. Flexible scheduling to create work life balance for you

Collaboration with community OBs in a highly supportive and cohesive group

Best practices ensure continuity, quality and safety

Real-time communication with office physicians of triage visits, new issues, and deliveries

Improved outcomes, enhanced experience, reduced costs

Multidisciplinary OB critical care.

24-hour in house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.

Management of OB/GYN emergency-department patients.

Athens, Ohio is located in the Eastern part of the state, flanking Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh is just over the state line) and Northern West Virgina.

Less than 2 hours East of Columbus, Ohio and 2 hours South of Cleveland, Ohio

Must be Board Certified OBGYN

Must have a minimum of 1 year recent clinical experience

Need Ohio license or active IMLC Pediatrix does provide assistance in obtaining state Medical License and DEA, if needed

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
