We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for a 30-day assignment in Ohio, starting Jan 4, 2027. This role involves 24-hour in-house shifts from 8am to 8am, focusing on rounding in a special care nursery, performing essential procedures like intubations and vent management, attending high-risk deliveries, and managing pediatric floor patients. Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24-hour in-house coverage during 8am-8am shifts. Round on newborns within the special care nursery. Perform procedures including circumcisions, intubation, and vent management. Attend high-risk deliveries and c-sections. Stabilize and transport newborns as needed. Conduct rounds on the Pediatric floor. Perform medical checks and history and physicals for Pediatric Psychiatry patients. Manage cases such as hyperbilirubinemia, sepsis, mild prematurity, NAS, and non-ICU pediatrics. Handle pediatric admissions from the Emergency Department. Execute advanced procedures including Thoracentesis, Chest Tube Placement, Lumbar Puncture, Surfactant administration, Arterial Blood Draw, UAC/UVC, Needle Decompression, and CPAP Management. Additional Information Board certification in Pediatrics or Pediatric Hospital Medicine required.
